SUPER POCKET MUSIC WAREHOUSE EDITION!
The first Pocket Music mini-festival encompassing Music, VJ’s, DJ’s, Installations and Retro-Gaming!
Contortionist Studios, Lucinda St, Woolloongabba, Saturday August 6th, 7pm Doors bands at 8pm, $10 entry (go to Mana Bar Monthly Pocket Music, Thursday August 4th to get discounted entry and drink vouchers)

SCIENCE PROJECT: Brisbane Beats duo mixing dub, hiphop and electronica. Moody bass heavy tunes to nod your head whilst shaking your ass.
Maddest Kings Alive (Melb): Turns a large array of video game devices into a funky amalgam of future beats and spacey bleeps. Playing material off his new EP this set is not to be missed.
godinpants (Syd):  godinpants, written in 1851, recounts the adventures of the narrator gameboy as he sails on the whaling ship distortion under the command of Captain bass guitar.
Dot.AY: Low-End 4bit Bass destruction, wonky beats party assaulting bleeps.
WTEM: Noisy neo-tribal improv…Wtem is an onomatopoeia for wham…
VJ’s: Gentlehurst (Syd), Warren Handley + Joe Baker, Leif Gifford
Micronations DJ’s will be spinning tunes between sets from booty bass to 8bit ragga and everything in between.
DOOMSPLAY: An interactive installation made in Brisbane that allows participants to save the city from invaders (possibly from space)
Finally there will be a bar with cheap drinks and a Retro Gaming zone that only has consoles created before the turn of the century and TV’s with busted colour tubes.
